Belt Collins

Leadership

Leadership can be defined as the process of influence whereby an individual (or company) can solicit the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a task.  For over half a century, Belt Collins and its staff have provided the leadership necessary to support our clients and turn their visions into reality.  Some of the leadership characteristics of Belt Collins include the following:

  • Innovative Solutions - As a leading international consulting firm with offices throughout the Pacific, we provide creative, thoughtful, and practical planning, design and environmental consulting services that help our clients achieve their goals.
  • Belt Collins is a member of the U.S. Green Building CouncilSustainable Design - We have been dedicated to sustainability long before it became a buzzword.  We have LEED-accredited staff in each of our U.S. offices, and have assembled a portfolio of projects that have received either LEED or Built Green Certification. Belt Collins is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
  • Building Community - We work with, listen to, and are sensitive to the local communities in which we operate.  We identify stakeholders and engage them in the process, with the ultimate goal being to enhance the communities in which they live.
  • Partnerships - We are team players.  We thrive on collaboration.  We work closely with others throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, whether they are a client, prime consultant, subconsultant, or vendor.
  • Integration - We are civil engineers, landscape architects, planners, and environmental scientists, all integrated into one seamless practice.  As a multi-disciplinary firm, we have a strong understanding of how natural systems support each other and how disturbing that balance can create a domino effect.
