Aim: The Kahului Harbor Master Plan/Environmental Impact Statement effort continues the work of Harbors Division to plan and develop harbor facilities that help Maui to enjoy its prosperity and quality of life. We are updating our Kahului plan in recognition of the crowded conditions in the harbor. We seek to develop long-term solutions to today’s challenges and those of the years to come. The 2025 master plan is being updated to address the robust growth and new maritime operations that will challenge Kahului Commercial Harbor through the year 2030.
