David has more than thirty-seven (37) years of experience in civil and water resource engineering for federal, state, municipal, industrial, agricultural, and private sector clients. David’s areas of expertise includes civil, master planning, site planning, hydraulics, hydrology, storm drainage, flood control, recreation engineering, environmental design, wetland mitigation, in-stream water quality and habitat improvements, road design, water supply, sewerage, and subsurface drainage and permitting for floodplain and stormwater projects. Due to David's unique approach in forging functional engineering solutions with environmental and aesthetic concerns, he has been a featured speaker at several professional conferences and engineering-related lectures at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has also taught construction inspection courses to City of Boulder Public Works employees. Additionally, he is a qualified Federal Court expert witness in the areas of major drainageway master planning, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, preliminary design, final design, cost estimating and construction management and has provided depositions and/or testimony on numerous court cases.
