Margaret brings over 10 years of experience as a Landscape Architect to Belt Collins.  Her background and expertise includes planning and design of public spaces such as campuses, streetscapes, plazas, parks (neighborhood to regional), open space and trails.  Her experience as a Landscape Architect has ranged from large-scale planning and design projects to small-scale detailed site design.  She is accomplished in working with the public and can skillfully engage public participation, enthusiasm and design consensus.  Her desire to create sustainable designs in which people and nature compliment each other is strengthened by her deep respect for natural ecosystems, her inspired design ideas and her ability to effectively manage projects. Her communication skills along with and knowledge of the design and construction documentation process all assist in bringing projects to successful completion. As a Project Manager, Margaret brings a high level of energy to each of her projects with an emphasis on team and client collaboration.
