Mimi is the president of Belt Collins West and her career as a landscape architect and planner has been focused on recreation-oriented and natural and cultural resource-based planning for our country’s public lands. Mimi has managed and contributed to general management planning efforts for national parks, comprehensive conservation plans for national wildlife refuges, and recreation framework plans for the USFS. Mimi is also a trained facilitator and is frequently charged with coordinating the public involvement and stakeholder collaboration aspects of projects. Committed to inspiring stewardship and support for resources within our protected public and private lands, Mimi uses interpretation as a medium for engaging visitors and bolstering their understanding of the natural history, stories and peoples that distinguish an area. She focuses on crafting provocative interpretive materials and engaging heritage tourism products that will pique the interest of both residents and travelers.
