Shelby embraces the notion that ecology and culture are intimately connected, and is passionate about fostering relationships between people and their environment that reflect the history and culture of the area as well as care for the natural world.  With a Masters in both landscape architecture and urban and regional planning, Shelby contributes to a variety of project types including campus designs, cultural landscape inventories, park master plans and streetscape improvements.  Shelby uses a variety of cartography tools and graphic programs to create presentation products that change the way people perceive place.
