The Honolulu office of Belt Collins has a unique history of engaging in a variety of interesting and challenging projects; promoting diversity in its workforce; remaining competitive with excellent benefits; and maintaining a healthy and satisfying workplace. Its staff of 90 employees provide civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting services to both private and public clients. In addition, GIS and graphic design services are offered to complement these core services.
In 2010 Belt Collins Hawaii was honored with a "Green Business Award" by the State of Hawaii for its efforts in improving business practices to conserve resources and protect the health of Hawaii's people and environment. It also ranked #9 in the 2008 Best Places to Work in Hawaii competition by Hawaii Business Magazine, was a recipient of the 2006 Employer Recognition Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (Committee on Younger Members) highlighting employers who support younger member participation in ASCE activities, and in 2003 was the winner of the Healthy Workplace Award from the Hawaii Psychological Association.
