Mr. Akau is a vice president and director of landscape architecture for Belt Collins Hawaii. His primary responsibilities include managing the day to day operations of the landscape department, including oversight of the landscape staff and all of the departments' projects. Mr. Akau's area of expertise include hotel/resort master planning and design, commercial mixed use design, landscape master planning and design. He has taken the lead or has collaborated on the design for most the departments' domestic and international projects.
