Belt Collins

Seattle

Belt Collins' Seattle office was founded in April 2006, and is strongly grounded in the firm's reputable 56-year interdisciplinary and international practice. The office is an integrated design practice where landscape architects, engineers, planners, and environmental scientists work collaboratively with communities to create and implement planning concepts, innovative design solutions, and high quality built projects that enhance the function and health of each unique place.  The firm structure is well suited to strike the delicate balance between resolving complex landscape, engineering, and environmental issues while enhancing sensitive community aesthetics and livability.

Environmental stewardship and sustainable design are primary goals that Belt Collins shares with their clients.  The practice is rooted in a deep respect and sensitivity to local cultures, customs, and natural environments.  They are committed to searching out environmentally responsible solutions for their clients and their sites, and as LEED-accredited professionals and social facilitators, they encourage and promote the ecological and cultural continuity of every community. All of their disciplines are engaged in the implementation of green strategies on individual projects as well as regional sustainable infrastructure throughout major cities and urban areas. They also create strong, long-term design and planning solutions for rural, federal, state, and tribal lands.
